Truro Troyl Club

Think local, act global: get down to The Globe in Truro for a night of local culture.

This new Troyl Club is descended dreckly from parties held in Cornish fish cellars to celebrate a good catch of fish.

Providing local traditional musicThe word 'troyl' (meaning turn) has been used by generations of Cornish people to refer to an informal gathering of musicians, singers, dancers, storytellers, poets, and anyone else who appreciates these things, where everyone can do a 'turn' if they wish, or just sit back and enjoy the proceedings.

There will also be opportunities to join in a session of music and singing and each month different artists will perform. Listen, join in, enjoy!

See news pages for upcoming dates and bands.

"Cumpas have organized many events enjoyed by our whole family, so many thanks to you all and more power to you all"

"Thanks for organising all this so we can play in ALL THOSE PARADES!"
