PerformanceWhether musician, dancer or fan of traditional music we believe that it is essential Cornish Music is 'owned' by the growing community of people attracted by its energy. Traditional music provides an ideal setting for de-mystifying the whole idea of performance, as beginners and experts alike access the same material on different levels. Thus sharing their enthusiasm and blurring the boundaries between participant and audience, whether this be through sessions, processions, concerts or noze looan dance nights.

There is definitely a place for accomplished performers to impress and inspire but the energy of this music can also be relayed by new and developing musicians, and be relevant to local communities.
Also we believe that performing is an important part of musical learning so our educational activities are designed to lead themselves seamlessly into performance in an inclusive way.
