Degol Stul '05 (West Briton)

With the advent of Noze Looan since the millenium in 2000, dance floors throughout Cornwall have resounded regularly to hundreds of people stanking, shuffling and furrying about to new arrangements in traditional Cornish music. That such a new concept became popular so quickly is largely due to the tireless efforts of CUMPAS ltd who have hosted and promoted successful events the length and breadth of Cornwall, in the past 5 years. One such event has proved so enjoyable that it has become THE definitive way of starting the New Year (literally on the right foot!) and is fast becoming a new tradition called DEGOL STUL to celebrate Twelfth Night.

CUMPAS bring you DEGOL STUL 2005. One and All are invited to Noze Looan in the New Year at Chacewater Millenium Hall on Saturday 8th January with 2 of Cornwall's most prolific and exciting bands DALLA and BAGAS CROWD who will set the grooves and moves for the evening. An open session for all musicians to participate in is planned, so bring your instruments and jam along. Refreshments and a bar will be available, doors open at 8.00 pm and music starts at 8.30pm. Tickets are £4 - accompanied children free.
